Drone Workforce Development Program

The Drone Workforce Development Program is an innovative and hands-on training initiative designed to empower youth, young adults, and adults with the skills and certifications needed to thrive in the rapidly growing drone technology industry. This program aims to bridge the gap between workforce demands and opportunities by equipping participants with technical expertise, industry-recognized certifications, and practical experience.

 

Program Objectives

  1. Skill Building: Provide participants with foundational knowledge of drone technology, including aerodynamics, programming, and maintenance.

  2. Hands-On Training: Deliver practical experience in drone operation, data analysis, and applications in industries such as agriculture, real estate, construction, environmental monitoring, and public safety.

  3. Certification Preparation: Prepare participants to earn certifications such as the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  4. Career Development: Support participants in exploring career pathways, including drone pilot roles, data analysts, or entrepreneurship in drone services.
